Girls and Boys 2019 District 5 Class 1 Cross Country

The Fordland Girls and Boys Cross Country Teams competed at the Class 1 District 5 meet in Washington, MO on Saturday, November 2, 2019.  Last year the Girls team qualified and competed in the State Meet and this year took first place overall winning Back to Back District Team Titles for the first time in the programs History.  This is also the first time in 31 years that both the Girls and Boys teams will compete at the same time at the State Level.  The Girls team all finished in the top 15 earning individual medals while earning the Girls District 5 1st place Team Title.  Mia Wiley took individual 1st place, with Kayce Collins finishing 2nd, Tessa Feeback finished 4th, Gracie Trotter finished 5th, Katlyn Fries came in 10th place  and Jasmine Page finished 13th.   
 
The Boys team earned second overall in the Class 1 District 5 meet and were only 4 points from earning 1st Place  Out of almost 60 runners, Hunter Glenn finished 13th  and won an Individual Medal while helping to propel the Boys Team to a spot in the State Meet.
