The 2019-20 School Year is just weeks away and Girls and Boys Athletics will start fast and below is a summary of all Fall Athletics. For athletic calendars, please go to the following MSHSAA websites via links below.
Practice for the 2019/20 season starts 7 a.m. at the high school on Monday, August 12th for High School and 7 a.m. Monday, August 19th for Middle School. Cross-Country is open to High School and Middle School 6th - 12th grade boys & girls. Once school begins, practice will be every morning at 6:30 a.m.. There will be some after school practices for those who want to improve their running, and those runners that attend OTC. If you plan to run and have not personally given coach Haynes a copy of your new/current physical or had a copy put in her school mailbox, you MUST present a copy of your current physical before you can practice. HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL
The 1st Day of practice for Fall Baseball will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday, August 12th at the high school baseball field. All Athletes must have a current sports physical on file with the office or presented to Coach Waterman on the first day of practice. If you received your physical after February of the 18/19 school year it is good for the 2019/20 school year. We look forward to a great year of Baseball. Coach Sam Waterman.
Practice begins Monday, August 12th, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for any High School girls interested in playing volleyball this fall. Remember you will need an updated physical on file or present the first day of practice to play. Coach Faith Curtis.
JUNIOR HIGH BOYS & GIRLS BASKETBALL
Junior High Boys & Girls Basketball practice will begin Monday, August 19th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. We will practice every day that week and all players must have a new physical in coach’s hand and proof of medical insurance before practicing as you will not be allowed to practice without it!
